Description

I am selling as I am just not riding it enough and with winter here I doubt I'll touch it again until next March. Plenty of bikers ride through winter so I've no doubt someone else with have a use for it. Only had it a few months. Bought it after passing my test. Looks like it has been dropped on its left side as the fairing is cracked behind the seat and the fuel tank has a big dent in it. I bought a bagster for £100 which fits the tank perfectly and hides the dent. Looks very smart. Also bought a Puig wind screen which is higher than the stock one so you get better protection from the wind. I have also replaced the rear shock so that is brand new. The bike runs very well. Brakes. tyres. fluids and electrics are all in check. New oil. filter and 2 new iridium spark plugs within the last 500 miles. I know these aren't particularly desirable but they are cheap and contrary to popular belief are also well made and well spec'd. The bike weighs 10kg less than a cbr250r. has more bhp and more torque. It also has the look of a bigger bike as they use the same frame for the 650cc version. There are no Hyosung stickers on display nor are there any 250 stickers so to an onlooker it looks like a suzuki sv650 or something along those lines. Perfect for commuting thanks to it's weight. low down torque and ride position. These are ful size bikes but I am only 5'6" and am able to get both feet down if needed as the rear shock is on minimum preload and the front forks are higher in the triple clamps. This has dropped the seat height a cm or so and also made the steering more responsive. Only thing I've noticed with it is that it needs to be warmed up before setting off. There is a switch which is similar to a choke on older carb bikes. As long as that is open it starts no problem and then I'll leave it like that for a few minutes while getting my gear on. If you rush it the bike will be lumpy for a few miles until it is up to tempTax and MOT. Pickup from Shawclough in Rochdale.
