Description

Here we have my Hyosung Hyper 125cc moped. I got this from a friend of mine as it belonged to his wife. She bought it new in July 2002. rode it until the weather turned nippy in October 2002. and then parked it up and left it. I put it back on the road at the beginning of summer. It needed a new carburettor. and that was about it. It has 1400Km on the clock when I got it. and is up to around 2500 now.

This really is in excellent condition. The plastics are unmarked with the exception of a small crack on the instep where a screw rusted during its long lay-up. nbsp;but the bike as a whole is clean and tidy. as you'd expect for such a low mileage bike. It is a pleasure to ride - I am used to much larger bikes. but this one is comfortable. stable and relatively quick: it will do 65 - 70mph at a push. I used this for the summer along with my caravan - with the mirrors taken off. it fitted in the back of my Chrysler people carrier. and was ideal for when my son and I went away. It ran faultlessly up and down the Dorset hills around the Isle of Purbeck. with enough power to not leave you embarrassed on the steep climbs! All the paperwork is in my name at my home address. and owing to a mistake on the original purchase by my friends wife. I am registered as the second keeper after the supplying dealership.

Also included in this auction is a second identical bike. I broke the mirror on mine. and got the second for not much more than the price of a mirror set. It was sold to me as having a carburettor problem - very common on the original carbs on these - but on connecting a battery. it also appears to have a fault on the CDI unit which prevents the starter from turning. There is compression on the engine when you kick it. and the carbs are removed and in a bag - there is a spare carb as well. by the look of it - but I have not played with it. I have the registration plate. but no paperwork for the parts bike. The tyres. shocks. wheels. plastics. instruments etc are all good on the second one - it is ideal if you have the space to use for either long terms spares. or to put it back on the road: the clocks show about 6000 Km on it. if I remember rightly.

I am pretty sure you will not find one of these in better condition. let alone two of them. I have been very pleased with it. but I am having a definite declutter and getting rid of many of my toys. If you're interested. coming days will see everything from power tools to a 65' wooden trawler (yes. really) listed.

Ideally I would like this gone fairly rapidly. I am away from the 30th until the 2nd in Munich. and then again shortly after that. In a perfect world. you'd collect before the 30th. I can hang onto the parts bike for a week or so if you'd like to ride the good one away. but as the idea is to clear my garage out. I don't really want it there for ever!!

And now. the EBay bits. Please only bid on this if you have the money to pay for it. I want to get something else. and I want to get it quickly. not next month when you've saved up to pay me. I expect it to be collected within 7 days. but preferably sooner. I am in Dartford. Kent. Please bear this in mind when bidding. I will not deliver it. post it or ship it to Mongolia. Chad or Brazil - if you want it there. it's your problem. not mine. I will not give cash back on some dodgy method of payment. no. not even if your recently deceased uncle really was the last finance minister of Nigeria. I don't want a part exchange. and neither to I want to swap it for any old junk you have lying around. so please. don't offer me curling tongs. a fondue set or a 1982 Austin Metro - put it on EBay. If your bid is not accepted by the system. don't message me with a sob story - it is because you do not meet my buyer requirements. and I don't care what excuses you have for not paying previous sellers. Suck it up. I will not end the auction early - that's why it's an auction - so please don't ask me for a Buy It Now price. there isn't one if it isn't in the listing. If you are a new EBayer with zero feedback. you are welcome to bid. but you will need to message me your contact details first so I know you are serious. If you fail to do so. I will remove your bid and block you from re-bidding.

Sorry. I've been on EBay a long time. and I've heard it all before. After all that. good luck bidding!
