1948 Indian chief motorcycle

item here is a 1948 Indian chief motorcycle . I am the 2nd owner and have own this bike for over 40 years. I bought from the original owner. He was a retired air force master sergeant. This bike is an all original MATCHING NUMBERS bike with all original near perfect sheet metal. speedo. headlight . ags. both seats etc. The bike was painted air force blue when I bought it and slowing was going to repaint it the original color(yellow). but as I rode it over the year that never happened. the original tanks where leaking so they where disassembled and re-solder and painted. fenders where primed but I needed to use the bike to get to work and never got back to it. About 1500 miles ago the complete drive line was rebuilt- complete engine overhaul and carb. . transmission. primary (chain. sprocket. clutch pack. gen. drive gear). main drive sprocket. rear sprocket and chain. Both wheel hub rebuilt. and both front and rear brakes done. No leaks! Bike has been in dry storage for the last few years. will need fresh oil gas and a new battery and it will be ready to go anywhere. new set of tires (never put on). have all fender trim as well. bike has never been down and I have never walk away due to break down. I was a Calif. bike and has no rust. sold as is where condition. ask any and all questions before bidding. ride as is . or repaint?
