2001 Indian Chief Motorcycle

2001 Indian Chief Gilroy built chrome highway bars sissy bar/seat leather tool bag loaded with chrome laced wheels whitewalls and fishtail pipes. 1442 cc S&S V-Twin with S&S carburation four stroke with about 75 HP at 5700 RPM 5 speed gearbox. The nice thing about these is that you can get S&S parts and service from ANY bike shop and don't have to find an Indian dealer Just serviced with: new battery S&S carb. rebuild and rejet front fork rebuild and new fork seals rebuild master cylinder and front/rear brakes starter relay kit from Aardvark (fixes the problem these bikes had with the starter relay) I will also throw in a some used original equipment brake calipers that can be rebuilt with new seals etc. so you have spares. One owner bike used a lot but not abused and still has a lot of miles left in it. This bike still turns heads when it goes by.

I had some custom paint work done eagle feathers on the fenders and the tank and a bit of pin striping. Its an old bike but it still makes heads turn. Unfortunately for me my bike riding days are over so now it needs a new owner. Paint is in good shape chrome is decent as well. Wheels spokes and fishtails are ok but could use a good polish to really make them flash. Fasteners on saddle bags on one side are bent a bit some bonehead in a parking lot got too close and grazed it when he was pulling out. Originally a Texas bike I bought brand new currently garaged NJ. Clear title but it is not currently registered since you can not keep your registration if you do not carry insurance in NJ even if you are not riding the bike. Bike runs fine but is sold as is where is with no warranties expressed or implied. No Reserve and priced to sell. LOCAL PICKUP OR BUYER TO ARRANGE FOR SHIPPING. I HAVE NO WAY OF SHIPPING THE BIKE MYSELF.
