1946 INDIAN CHIEF MOTOR & TRANSMISSION - SCOUT

INDIAN CHIEF, 946 MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION. This is a very nice 1946 Chief Motor & Transmission. What you see is all I have.THERE IS NO TITLE WITH THIS MOTOR. It has 40 over pistons and cylinders. I see no visible welds or repairs on the cases. The outer primary boss where the primary screws attach are chipped off at one spot (see pictures). There are some broken fins on top of the front cylinder. The motor and the oil pump turn over very easily. The transmission looks good with no visible welds or repairs and it turns easily. For shipping purposes, can pull the top end off and ship separately from the bottom end. I can also ship the transmission in a separate box. The lower end will weigh apx 85 pounds and measure 15" x 22" x 22". The top end will weigh apx 75 pounds and measure 17" x 23" x 13". The transmission box will weigh apx 55 pounds and measure 17" x 17" x 17". It is shipping from Stanfield, C 28163 USA.
