1942 Indian 741 motorcycle

Solid example of the 741 which was designed essentially for the commonwealth forces. Difficult to read numbers of speedo as numbers have lifted.

Am adding a photo with parts provided with the item. Spare oil lines, ew, enerator armature 6 volts, ne on bike is 12 volts, edone by Rob in PA. Chain is on the bike, orgot I had installed it. Bracket for muffler still there but broken off, ay get it done this week, uffler shield for saddle bag in photo, ool box with clamps and keys, orn bracket with nuts and bolts, OS wires, ne rubber grip for the one that became damaged due to heat or friction, rotection plate for engine casing and all that you may be able to view in the photos, park plugs have the bakelite/plastic shields on both, hey are radio suppressed as well, ires are original as it came with the machine

Forgot about the crash bar. Original Indian 741 crash bar removed for ease of motorcycle storage. All connecting hardware present. Please see photo.

Rear stop light and blackout light are not connected. Not sure if wire harness is provided.

Was asked about internal condition of tanks. Have added photos to address that query. Driving chain is loose and hangs a bit, pare chain is provided. Both are new.
Should remark that this bike will need going over to verify that all screws, olts are secured. Wiring in some areas as horn, ear brake light, peedo light will have to be connected.
The issue with the kick starter locking up at inception is bypassed by putting bike in gear and moving it forward a bit. That gets those gears to mesh as they should. Spring for kick needs to be adjusted.
Previous bill of sale will be included as well as all manual and parts lists that I have.
Had not intended on selling it at this time, ence some of the incomplete aspects

Although I could not locate return policy when drafting this item, hought to list it on my own.
Have had this bike since 2006 and selling it only to fund some other expenses. If it is returned for any valid and sensible reason as agreed by both parties, t will be welcomed back.
