1947 INDIAN CHIEF #'s numbers matching engine & frame motorcycle

1947 INDIAN CHIEF MOTORCYCLE, atching #'s engine & frame... 74ci v-twin, spd tank shifter with suicide clutch, ike new Goodyear tires, ll new bearings on springer front end, ew brakes, ew battery, OS headlamp, ngine and transmission were professionally rebuilt in 1985. Also the generator was converted to 12v in 1985 at a cost of $600; We have a thick folder of receipts from the man that has owned this bike since 1971 prior to us purchasing itearlier this year. Bike has had about 2500 miles on it since 1985 when he had the eng/tran rebuilt. Starts right up and runs smooth; transmission and clutch need to be slightly adjusted-- it slightly grinds and doesn't want to go into geareasily which is typical of these old Indians. Clean and clear title in hand. Odometer: 17,908. Both fenders on bikeare reproduction from and put on inthe 1970's. .......Now, lso we have a group of original parts that the buyer can purchase additionally if interested when buyer comes topick up this bike(( items include: orig chummy seat frame that has been recovered in elk hide w/fringe, vintage black solo seat with orig leather/fringe,an original 1947Indian 4 rear fender, 1947 Indian Chief tank, nd a box of misc parts))...
