Original Paint 1915 Indian Big Twin 1000cc Hendee Hedstrom F - Head

Looking for 38 Knucklehead cases, Motor, r any collection of parts. May consider towards motor, arts, tc towards 15 Purchased this awesome piece of History from the family that had the bike for the last 60 years about 7 years ago. part with it. The pictures tell the story. This was a local bike (see title from 1926 and 1929) and the great uncle who owned it last was a very good mechanic kept it in running condition all the time. It fires up and sounds great, ven with the period spark plugs. It doesn’t idle well and carb needs a tune up or rebuild, o I bought some parts a few years ago (see tool box shot). It also has a small leak along the hand oil pump so I decided to park in my living room instead of running it. It had original tires on it, o added some nice patina to new Coker tires. Drilled and threaded the original valve stem to screw over the new valve stem. I have one picture posted of the bike as found before I cleaned the bike up some. The acetylene tank was missing and bought a nice original tank, ut used reproduction straps. The muffler is a period modification by the previous owner. Feel free to ask any questions.
