1946 INDIAN CHIEF POWERPLANT,400 MILES,READY TO INSTALL!

I have owned this 1946 indian chief powerplant for almost 40 years!previously was in a reconstructed chopper chassis,was completely overhauled,(motor,trans & primary),400 miles ago.Broke in nicely with 3 oil changes of valvoline 50w.Recently sold the chopper chassis,so powerplant is for sale to finance other projects.Just pulled heads to look,all clean! both cylinders run great,no oil or smoke.installed new blue teflon head gaskets & new headbolts & washers, pened trans for a look,all good!Primary chain new & adjusted.clutch fibers & steels replaced,new worm bearing & races.This unit starts nicely & runs strong,trans shifts good.Original Motor & Transmission cases are clean with no breaks or welds! original primary covers,inner has weld at lower bottom.M41 carb is rebuilt & runs,idles nice.All parts replaced came from Starklite Cycle,400 miles ago;crankpin,driveshaft,pinion shaft,all rollers,lower rod bush set,upper rod bushings,cases line honed & correct rollers fitted.flywheels trued & balanced to new .050 pistons & bore,4 ss valves,4 guides,4 springs,cut & lap 4 valves,all gaskets,new oil pump return gears,new disc in sump,Transmission drive gear,slider gear & countershaft gear with shaft,mainshaft,2 bearings,48 style kicker gear.Primary chain,clutch fibers & steels,throwout bearing & races,generator pulley & cogged generator belt.M41 carb rebuilt,original indian 48 style air cleaner!lots of new hardware.This auction is for complete powerplant as pictured,ready to install & run good now!ANTIQUE MOTORCYCLE PARTS/SOLD AS IS.....SOLD WITH BILL OF SALE ONLY!
