1940 Indian Chief basket case

This is being sold with a Bill Of Sale ONLY!!!! There is no title I picked salvage because i had to pick something.  You are bidding on a 1940 Indian Chief.  It is a good start to build a very desirable motorcycle.  I believe most of the stuff that is missing is reproduced and readily available.  The hard to find pieces are here.  There is a frame. fork. handlebars. wheels. brakes. tanks. mostly complete engine. transmission case. trans top. a few gears and shafts. side stand. generator and bracket. nbsp;clutch parts. crash bar. dash cover and maybe a few other pieces.  Everything included in the auction is in the pictures.  There is some pitting on the chassis as you can see in the pictures and the front end is split on both sides from water freezing in them. There are numbers on the frame but I can not make them out and do not know if they match the engine numbers. I took pictures of what I thought was important. and will do my best to answer any questions that you may have.
