1947 Indian Chief Show Winner

1947 Indian Chief This motorcycle was restored 15 years ago by one of the best in the business- John Dohnal. longtime Indian enthusiast and member of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America- for the current owner. Finished as a Clubman model. it has limited chrome accents. and is period correct in every way. A restoration down to the last nut and bolt was completed in 2001. and less than 500 miles in total have been put on the bike since then. The motorcycle was judged at the AMCA Prairie Chapter meet in Wauseon. Ohio in July of 2001. and received a Junior First award. It was subsequently judged at the AMCA Blackhawk Chapter meet in Davenport. Ohio in September 2001. and received a Senior first award. The motorcycle has been serviced regularly and used sparingly since that time. and always kept in a climate controlled environment. There is some paint scraped off of the ammeter trim ring. ?  If you want a numbers correct. well-kept example of this classic motorcycle. one which you can get on and ride. look no further.
