1947 Indian Chief Barn Find

I believe this Indian to be a 1947 with the motor being a re stamp at one point in time.

VIN# looks to read CCI11XXX    I believe that to date to a 1939 Chief. The frame numbers are there but hard to make out. Please look at pictures.

This motorcycle comes with a bill of sale only!!! There is no title.

This is a very restorable motorcycle with all the major components.

Frame is nice with no issues. front end has no freeze cracks. left tank is rotted out on the bottom. The bottom end of the motor is free. but the piston is stuck in the rear cylinder. I believe it will come right out I just didn't want to beat on it. The front piston was no issue. Cylinders are rusty. with bolt flange on rear cylinder broke. Outer primary is broken but repairable. (see picture)

Please look at the pictures close. I am no Indian expert. I will answer all questions to the best of my knowledge and will provide more pictures if needed.
