This is a very good start to building a classic piece of history as well as having a fully functioning flat track racer. The bike was originally being built in 2003 by Al Ludwigsen a vintage racer in California. He moved out of the country and it never was completed. After sitting for more than ten years. I decided to get it up and rolling for someone else to complete. The bike features the following: 741 frame; 741 cases and primary; sport scout 45 inch flywheels and rods polished and lightened; sport scout 45 inch cylinders . 020 over with oversized stainless valves. and huge intakes; carburetor has chief bonne venturi; heads have been modified to mimic Harley; 648 exhaust; 21 inch front wheel with Borriani rim and alloy hub; 18 inch rear wheel with modified hub for modern sprockets and drilled for screwing in tires; narrowed front end that has been de-raked; handlebars are tack welded so that they can be positioned for rider also top tree has been machined for 1 inch risers; Bates seat; Indian vertical gas tank; and custom oil tank. The bike is set up as a total loss ignition system.  This bike would be up and running if not for the following issues: stripped head bolt hole with crack (not to bore). has standard pistons but should be bonne (changed heads along the way); needs throttle and battery. The paint job is ten years old and not perfect. There is a dent at the gas cap bung from falling of a shelf. There had been high hopes for this project. but finances have changed and it is time for someone else to realize it's potential.
