Hi and thanks for looking at my auction for an Italjet Jetset 125.
This was bought for my son to use but he instead kept the 50cc Chinese bike his sister has used as he wanted an incentive to pass his car test ?????
I bought it to put through the MOT but didn't bother. I took it to the garage for a pre MOT check and to buy mirrors and he suggested it was a lovely bike and for the MOT it needed mirrors and the front forks would need attention. He said they needed WD40'd and wire wool or fine wet n dry to get rid of the small amount of rust. They may need new seals if they weep afterwards but he seemed pretty confident they would be fine. He also said they were common to a few bikes if I just wanted to ebay some used ones instead. He also said that it could do with a new variator as it was noisy (about ?30) and again pretty easy to fit (I have since changed one in a DirectBike) .
The mirrors I was going to buy were ?30 but they are on ebay for ?14. 99. There is also a used variator and other bits on a buy it now for ?39. 99 on 201133875549
It looks great and I thought it was the best of the bikes I got for the kids.
A little work and you will have a great bike to look very good on.
