Kawasaki F8 Bison 250 good runner for cosmetic restoration project very rare

This advert is for a 1970 Kawasaki F8 Bison. It is a 250cc 2 stroke trials off road style road registered motorcycle.

The bike is finished in Orange and has 4597 recorded miles on the speedo.

We bought the bike to restore as we like our classic 2 strokes and it is a very interesting machine but we don't have time to do it. The engine runs nicely. the bike rides well and is in an MOT'able condition but does require a cosmetic restoration as the bike is scruffy. There are some dings in the tank and metal front guard and the original paint and decals are faded and scratched etc.

The bike is being sold as a 'restoration project'.

The bike is an import (as most of these were!) It was declared manufactured in 1970 and given an H registration. These bikes are very rare and from the period when Kawasaki were famous for their 2 strokes so would be a good addition to your collection!

Forgot to say that the engine was rebuilt by previous owner including crank rebuild. bearings and seals and a rebore and still needs running in for a few hundred miles
