Kawasaki diesel

This is an auction for a unique Kawasaki 550 fitted with a 300cc diesel engine. The bike is a one off built by an RAF engineer. The engine is coupled to a honda mt50 gearbox which could be upgraded as it tends to restrict the speed having come from a 50cc machine. The bike is currently on a daytime MOT as it is not fitted with a lighting kit so it can only be used during the hours of daylight. There is a new battery fitted. new sprockets front and rear. new number plate. I have fitted a new seal on the gear lever shaft as it was leaking oil. The bike is started with a starting handle and usually starts first or second swing. The bike is in good condition for its age. however it does have a dent in the tank. The RAF engineer who built it told me it will do 200mpg. however not having used it much I cannot vouch for that. It would be a simple job to convert it to run on vegetable oil. I have it insured through Footman James and had no trouble insuring it. The bike is advertised elsewhere so the bike maybe withdrawn before the end of the auction. Cash on collection.
