Description

For sale is one of the most awesome motorcycles ever built. the Kawasaki 750H2.  I will get to the condition. but first let me tell a story. because this motorcycle deserves it. Do not be fooled by the 500 placards on this bike. for they were put there for a reason many years ago. It was a different time. when instead of texting on phones and playing video games. friends like my father and his twin brother would take their muscle cars and bikes to the local drive-in and race for cash and bragging rights. I regrettably am selling this motorcycle. for the proceeds are needed for my veteran father to enjoy the little time he has left without being painfully short on fun money. Shortly after leaving the service. my father and his brother bought a pair of these in California and made their journey back to Illinois. My father bought this one from my Uncle in 1983. so it is a 2 owner machine on paper. but for all practical purposes I will say it is a one family bike. I remember waking up to the sweet sound of this 750 when I was just a young child; in fact. few things could get me out of bed. but I would run to the window just to glimpse my father taking off of this awesome bike. I rode this 750 during high school and eventually ran a pro-stock drag bike with the same motor design. Lets just say we are all going to miss this bike. and I hope it goes to a great home with a life similar to what it has had with us. Nothing is perfect on this motorcycle. but everything is very nice would be a great way to describe it. There are aftermarket chambers on it. and there is no oil injection anymore. premix only. I do have the original oil tank and pump. but I would highly recommend keeping it the way it is. unless it is not going to ridden often. The seat has a couple small tears along the bottom seam. but is overall very nice. The tires have seen way better days. and I would for sure put a set on before rolling on the throttle somewhere. I had every intention of putting tires on it. but felt the originals should go with the machine. The right hand clutch cover had a crack in it that I had jb welded a long time ago. it does not leak; however. I am including a rh cover that is perfect. a few brand new oem turn signals. a new headlight benzel. an original service manual. a clean title with matching VIN that has not been rubbed off like I just saw in a previous auction on E-Bay. we all feel bad for that buyer. What do you get for your investment? A real. running H2750 with no problems. The top end was just freshened up with . 050 over pistons. which I am glad we did because the rings were stuck. as I'm guessing almost every one for sale is unless it has either been recently de-carbonized or rebuilt. so be careful what your buying. because it is not cheap to rebuild this motor. New chain. clean carbs. grips. plugs. etc. More importantly you are buying a piece of history. a motorcycle who needs no introduction. who changed the sport of motorcycling forever. Whatever price this motorcycle brings will not be enough. because the memories it bestowed upon my family could never be bought again. I thank each and every person who reads this listing and I sincerely hope that this one goes to somebody equally as special as my father.
