1972 Kawasaki H2 -Original 2500 Miles!!

This 1972 Kawasaki H2 was found stored indoors in the original owners living room!

Only 2527 original miles!!

The bike is very original and I would call it exceptional condition.

The bike starts easy and runs excellent. lights and horn work properly.

It has not been restored. so it shows the proper wear for a well cared for 2500 mile bike.

The original paint shines bright and shows little wear. The left side panel has a few minor scratches. the tail surface is a rough texture under the paint. and the tank has a few paint spots missing on the right side. I have tried to show these imperfections in the photos.

The original frame paint is excellent. the stock seat is perfect. and it has stock grips. levers. pipes. mirrors etc.

The right pipe has the common scuff on the bottom due to low ground clearance.

The engine and carbs have a great finish. the right cylinder has one chip missing from one fin.

This bike was taken out of storage a few years back. and put back to road worthy condition. It received new tires. full carb rebuilds with Keyster kits. a new sealed battery. new footpeg rubbers. and a new air filter.

The tank was clean and silver. but it did have an older Kreem kit in it that was peeling. The Kreem kit was removed. and a new Caswell epoxy coating was applied to the interior of the tank. which permanently will keep any rust out.

Although they look excellent. the owner told me he repainted a few of the black trim pieces. like the headlight bucket. chain guard. airbox. and meter buckets. He did a nice job and they look clean.

This bike could be fully restored easily. but I truly believe it would reduce its value. There just are not many original. uncrashed. low mileage 1972 H2's left! Like older Indians and Hendersons. the original paint just cannot be replaced and will command the highest prices from collectors.   

This bike will be a solid investment for the new owner and will go up in value. The 1972 H2 was a special (and dangerous!) machine. and for Japanese bikes. it will remain one of the most collectible.

I have described this bike as best I can. I invite all serious buyers to view it this week in Winchendon MA 01475 before the auction ends. The bike is clean and shines excellent. and it also shows minor wear and tear from its 2500 miles of riding. It is in excellent shape. and has to be one of very few left like it.

I do not arrange shipping. but I will be happy to meet your shipper and help load the bike. I will require a $500 paypal deposit within 12 hours of the auction end. Full payment is due within 7 days. and I can store the bike for up to 3 months if needed.

This bike has a clean Massachusetts title and is ready to ride.

I will show the bike early to serious bidders. but I will not end the auction early. The bike is not for sale locally.
