This incredibly rare and much sought after Circa 1969 Kawasaki A1 250 Samurai has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing. a few bits damaged/broken. a few bits rusty/corroded & a few bits are very nice indeed. The wheels are pitted but straight with good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight. Rear mudguard & silencers are very rusty but solid enough to restore. Fuel tank is solid & fuel tight. Seat base feels in solid condition.   The engine is cosmetically quite clean & looks complete but sadly is seized. Hopefully it will be weather seized with standing. after all a 46/Forty Six year old bike with just 1722 miles showing has done a lot of standing around!!!. The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

We HAVE NOT got the Certificate of Title but we will provide proof that VAT & Duty is paid on the NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT’d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture in writing. Phone Kawasaki UKs customer services on 01628 856643 with the frame & engine Numbers. /p>

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ?55 for the 1st registration & the current amount for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
