This big old 1987 Kawasaki ZG1200 Voyager X11 tourer has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing. a few bits damaged/broken. a few bits rusty/corroded & a few bits are very nice indeed. The wheels are straight with nice clean discs. calipers & working master cylinders. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & indicators. Instruments & switches look great. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. The engine when we hooked it up to a good battery turns over nicely but doesn't appear to be sparking so we haven't heard it running. The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

WE HAVE GOT THE ORIGINAL AMERICAN CERTIFICATE OF TITLE

We will provide proof that VAT & Duty are paid on the NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT’d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. The American Title will do this.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ?55 for the 1st registration & the current fee for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
