Description

Kawasaki ZZR600Great Bike! Actually this Motorcycle is THE best starting motorcycles I have ever owned. I dont know if it is because it is not as highly strung as a sports bike or this bike is just actually ace! Instant starting. every time. When you come and view the bike will be stone cold. I will not pre-warm it up like many riders and it will start first time. Good PointsLow Mileage for the age. 35. 22 miles on the clock. but i am doing the 65mile round trip commute in the morning so it will be going up!Low seatLow Power. well 100BHP is low by todays standards but is plenty good enough for a good scratchSingle exhaust. aftermarket conversion. Looks great. and sounds good too. After market. flip up (?) screan does a great job of deflecting windLong MOTRear rackGood ChainGood Front TyreStrong brakesV5Spare KeysFull tank of fuel ready for you to ride it awayAll lights / electrics work including hazards.  No reserve. You bid and she is yours! Not so good pointsRear tyre is about to touch the wear mark (this is the best i have got!)Small bit of trim missing in the middlescrew / bolt missing from the clock surround fairing (I am pretty sure I can get a replacement before the sale)Horn stopped working on 26th December 2014 when my dad and I rode to Mallory park for the annual Plum Pudding races. It snowed like crazy on the way home and i think the moisture got into the switch. I will strip the switch and WD40 it to see if that solves the issue. but it is sold without a working horn. This is the only thing that would cause an MOT failure at present. I purchased the ZZR as a winter hack. I owned and got married on my 1992 Fireblade that I rode all year round for 10 years. 12inch snow on a commute was the worst for that bike!!! However when she got stolen. I purchased an R1 (with more power) as a replacement. I wanted a 'winter hack' so i didn't destroy the R1 and this ZZR came at the right price in the right area etc etc.  I would love to keep this bike but the R1 has developed a suspected cam shaft bearing rattle so I need to sell the ZZR to give me funds to fix the R1. You fix my engine you can have the ZZR in payment!!!! Took my 6 year old out for the first time the other week. he loved it! I will accept any form of payment as long as it clears before you get the bike. I would prefer cash on collection though.  She is advertised elsewhere so I can end the sale at any time. However. if you bid. I will honor the bid and not make any other deals as you have already made an offer. I will deliver anywhere. Just message me first. I expect you to cover expenses e. g. bike fuel and train home plus ?20 for a bottle of JD as a thank you. Thanks for lookingMatt ------------------- For the many people asking. She is a K reg vehicle . And NO. I will not accept ?500!!! Thanks to all the watchers so far.
