1999 KAWASAKI ZX6R G2 21k Miles

For sale is my lovely low mileage 1999 Kawasaki ZX6R which has covered only 21. 00 mls.

I bought this bike in 2009 as a cat “C” write off project and with just a few bolt on parts quickly put it back on the road 31st July 2009. I even repaired the plastics (without paint) and used those for about 3 years before getting replacement nose and side fairings off ebay a couple of years ago.

Please don’t let this put you off. this has simply been the nicest bike I’ve had and am only having a go at selling it now as I really can’t justify keeping it any longer as I also have a J2 model with only 7. 00 miles on it and the difference in ride between them is negligible at most so have no reason to keep both. If it doesn’t sell though that’s probably what I’d do.

Cosmetic condition for a 15 year old bike I would say is very good but not as new. you might find one better looking but expect to pay lot more than this one and doubt it would ride as well. The only remaining sign of its accident is ding in the swinging arm where the broken RHS rearset dented it but because of how it was caused. this is totally obscured by the replacement rearset as shown in the pic.

Wheels I would say are good for original Kawasaki finish. maybe benefit from a touch up here and there but not worth repainting or powder coating. the original finish always looks best.

Price is ?1. 50 ovno.

I have MOT's going back to 2009. V5. 2 keys. under seat tool kit. Datatag registration and the vehicle check I did before purchase. Tyres (Bridgestones) have many thousands of miles left in them and I did an oil change before wintering. Please note. the pics were taken last year but condition is the same and it has been wintered in a dry garage. All ready for the Spring. just needs riding.
