This incredibly sixy 1979 Kawasaki KZ1300-A1 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is complete. It has obviously stood a while so the paint is slightly faded. battery is flat & the brake master cylinders are not working. Sadly the chrome is flaking off the exhausts & the seat cover has a puncture. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as solid as it looks here. The wheels are straight with clean alloy. iscs & calipers. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguard is solid. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments look great. Paintwork is faded & just crying out for your paint guy to work his magic on!!! fuel tank isuseably clean inside. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is original & solid even though it is losing its chrome. Seat base is in very good condition throughout. The engine is cosmetically clean - When we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it a few squirts of ether it starts & runs but the carbs do need cleaning. The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

We HAVE NOT got the Certificate of Title but we will provide proof that VAT & Duty is paid on the NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT’d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture in writing. Phone Kawasaki UKs customer services on 01628 856643 with the frame & engine Numbers. /p>

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ?55 for the 1st registration & the current amount for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
