Kawasaki AE50 ae 50 project restoration

Kawasaki AE50. bought several years ago for my daughter.  Unfortunately she has shown no interest in it whatsoever!  And now its taking up room in my shed. I bought this as a non runner. a poor neglected field bike.  Since owning it I have replaced the piston & the missing woodruff key (pin) & it now works.  I have also fitted new chain & sprockets. clutch & speedo cables.  I have tracked down some of the missing parts. including the NOS side panel you see in the last pic (many thanks to Holmetech for supplying a lot of the parts)Once I realised my daughter was not going to follow in my footsteps. my intention was to create an 'ornament' for my workshop but that would be completely wrong so its up for sale to someone who'll hopefully restore it & use it. It is missing. the tail pipe. the front mudguard. the rear mudguard & rack. it has no loom or indicators. It IS in poor condition. frame paint is erm. painted on! Some parts look like they have been stripped ready for paint but then not??! The head is missing fins. the bars are not original. sprocket cover is missing. sounds great eh?I put a new seat cover on it. bought piston kit. gasket kit. clutch/speedo cables & like I have mentioned. got it working but it just has to go now a shiny new project has arrived. READ THIS BIT CAREFULLY. There is NO V5 but frame & engine numbers are intact.  Obviously there is NO mot.  There is NO buy it now.  I will not post this anywhere but you can arrange a courier should you need to.
