Hi this is my zx9r. I have owned it for over two years now and loved every minute of it but I have got to that point like all bikers do and I fancy a change so the bike got to go.
This is actually my second zx9r. nbsp;before the zx9r's I had an old fireblade and the ninja is a lot more forgiving sports bike considering its got about 30bhp more then the blade.
This is a great bike and with the right rider this will still keep up with the new metal. its also good for just over 180mph (285kph) in a very short amount of time but id never do that ;-)
I'm going to the list its good and bad bits and I truly believe its worth every penny of the asking price but I know you guys will try a cheeky punt on it.
GOOD BITS
-Race can (road legal. including a baffle)
-jacked up at the rear a couple of cm (faster turning. no loss of top speed stability)
-Racing rearsets (includes brake pressure bango fitted)
-Stubby race and clutch leavers
-Renthal medium grips
-Double bubble screen
-Rear hugger
-Undertray and tail tidy
-Braided hoses all round
-Screen brace off an later F model zx9r (take a look at another E model and you'll see the difference. gets rid of the external cage)
-Custom rear foot pegs and hangers
-New tires fitted before the last MOT
-Passenger seat covered in green (better then having a single seat cover that you need to remove every time you want to take someone on the back)
-26000ish miles (I say "ish" because I'm still using it)
-Service history and MOTs
-6 months MOT (done less then 200 miles since the last MOT)
-A lot of spare parts including the original exhaust.
-I've tried to customise it in away that still keeps its original good looks from the factory but adding a little personality. if there is something you want putting back and I can I'll do it but that's if it goes for the asking price (examples. fitting the standard exhaust. lowering it. fitting standard indicators. and more. just ask)
NOT SO GOOD BITS
-some paint flaking off on the wheels and a bit on one fork (very common on Kawasaki's)
-no alarm (but at least the battery doesn't die if you leave it for more then a week)
-a few age related blemishes
-the hugger was green but I got a screw stuck in the rear tyre and it took a cm chunk out of it so I trimmed it down and re-sprayed it black (you wouldn't even know looking at it and I think it looks better black. sometimes you don't need that much green.
I think that about covers everything and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. viewing welcome but if you want to test ride it you'll have to give me a decent deposit. proof of licence. proof of insurance and the golden rule "you break it. you buy it". Also if you pay the asking price I'll throw in a decent chain and rain cover. I personally think this is the best on ebay at this moment in time but you be the judge. I look forward to hearing from you.
UK buyers only and no time wasters. may consider a part exchange but that's if your giving me cash and not the other way round.
