This rare old 1968 F3 BUSHWHACKER has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours.

PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing. a few bits damaged/broken. a few bits rusty/corroded. a few bits non standard & a few bits are very nice indeed. Forks & yokes look straight. Mudguards are both solid. Tail light assy is ok (lens broken) as are the headlight & hangers.

Instruments & switches look ok. Fuel tank is clean inside. Exhaust system is original &  appears solid but has slight damage. Seat base is ok. Shox seem to be damping fine. The engine is cosmetically quite clean. it turns over nicely off the kick starter & displays compression. When we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it a few snorts of Ether it actually started.

WE HAVE GOT THE ORIGINAL AMERICAN CERTIFICATE OF TITLE

We  will provide proof that VAT & Duty are paid on the NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT’d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. The American Title will do this.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ?55 for the 1st registration & the current fee for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
