Kawasaki GT 750-P5Since the mid 80's. I have had one of these bikes. Rather than commute on my sport bike(s) the GT provided an excellent inexpensive solution to comfortable. hassle free. 'chainless' clean riding. The more I used it. the more I appreciated it's all round reliability and strength. Virtually a 'bullet proof' engine provided you have oil in itConsequently. over the years. when I stumbled across a particularly tidy one. I bought it.  Now I have 4. Do not say a word. Mind you. back then. the image of  GT owners was associated with 'Kamakazi' despatch riders (mainly 550's though) and the 'waxed cotton' Belstaff brigade who had finally moved on from old British iron. How times have changed. Belstaff is now a top cool brand and the GT. A retro bike. I live in the south of France and am amazed at the attention this bike gets. or is it just a French thing since I have never seen another one here. This example is in really good 'nick'. runs perfectly. everything works. exhaust sounds great. handling better than you 'nippers' might think and very comfortable 'two up'.  The previous owner bought it from a dealer who has obviously been through the mechanics. wheels bearings. drive etc. The engine is very smooth and pulls cleanly up to the 'red'. New 'boots' back and front. new battery. Have just changed oils and fluids and new service kit on the fuel tap. I am sure the tank and side panels have been resprayed. The finish is very good and the clear coat gives the metallic red a deep rich lustre.  Haynes manual included.
