Description

Well the time has come to finally let go of my much loved Suzuki VZ1600. due to lack of use (only did 50 miles in one year. o the MOT station and back) as have had surgery that will not allow me to ride anymore (selling all my bikes). Please read this carefully. This is not some 'SS Enterprise' mileage bike. some as much as 57k miles have sold for ?4100. I have owned the bike since 2005. I am the first 'real' owner after being registered to Suzuki UK. Crawley. I have covered an average of 500 miles per year due to lack of time and other bikes. I have never ever ridden this bike in the rain or bad weather and the condition reflects that. no rust or corrosion anywhere (just a little dust). It has been stored in a heated garage it's whole life or ridden in the Summer /Autumn only. Work included (done in 2006) :Iridescent Metal Flake paint1. 25" 'fat' Drag barsNew front (billet aluminum chromed) headlight. rear cateye and bullet turn signals. Chromed top yoke inc reservoirs. MirrorsLED blue and red lighting under the frame and seat. Custom made front (carbon fibre) and rear fender removable (steel). Custom made sub-frame for the original seat that gave the impression it 'floated' over the wheel and stops the passenger from flying off (bloody uncomfortable seat so I changed it for a Mustang unit. still have the original). Vance & Hines Big Shot exhaust with 'quite' baffles. does make a deeper bass sound now. and have the original baffles also the original exhaust with goats belly. but that is in storage. Offset number plate holder. Really good. expensive Forward Controls. Steel braided brake lines front and rear. Front radiator shroud added after the work so it's only black not iridescent. The bike has been serviced by me all but once after I bought it (I don't know. but I don't have confidence in local dealers). It has had an oil and filter change every year. regardless of mileage ridden. It's had a new battery two years ago. front brakes upgraded to EBC HH (only 'cos time) they are newish so still squeal a bit. Diff oil changed twice since owning it. Coolant changed every two years along with brake and clutch fluid. except this year when I only changed the coolant about 100 miles ago. K & N airfilter. plugs. The battery is kept on a trickle charge. The spot lights that you see on the forks will not stay with the bike. sorry. The tyres are less than 2000 miles old. The bad points are: It's developed a crack in the plastic rev counter face. The wheels have the gel lacquer peeling off in places. There is a tiny ding in the headlight eyebrow. absolutely no idea how that got there. She really does get noticed by everyone. for the paint and the sound. but that's the reason you'd buy her right? The bike is well balanced and easy to ride. runs really well and pulls like a train. as you'd expect with a bike with such a low mileage. I can verify this mileage from old MOTs. the new style one's show previous recorded miles. It has been really well looked after and cared for as the condition will back up. again. no rust or corrosion anywhere. I think I've mentioned everything. nbsp; but should you have any questions please feel free to contact me. I'm happy to talk about it. It is sorn'd. so no test rides. sorry. Viewing welcomed and recommended.

The rear tyre is a 200. not the standard 170. The wheel was sent to Germany and widened in 2006 to accomodate a wider tyre and TUV rated.
