Description

Ready to tour Europe!! Or sit in your garage gaining value. If you've never ridden a 21 year old oriental. you should!I bought this bike from an old man a year ago. ho had grown frightened of it. He'd had it for 19 years. I should have walked away but I bought it and trailered it home. Then I trailered it to the bike shop because it ran like shite.  At the bike shop the carbs were taken off and cleaned and had full power carb tops added. A new genuine petrol pump was also fitted. It also had a full service. Oil and oil filter. air filter and spark plugs. The valves were checked and needed 8 new shims. All calipers were removed and freed off and new pads were fitted as well as brake fluid. The hydraulic clutch fluid was also replaced. The coolant was also replaced. Something else was needed for the MOT. a front disc from where the brakes were bound on from standing!  The bike now runs like a dream though. This was not cheap at ?60. 00 an hour (M&P Swansea) . All receipts will be supplied.  If you are thinking of buying a cheap one that has stood or has no service history bear in mind it's easy to spend well over a grand if you can't do the work yourself. Since then I've done a couple of thousand miles. fitted a new dark screen. baglux tank cover and new Givi rack. Its also just had a pai rof Avon Storms fitted. The old tyres were 5 years old!The Givi box and tank cover will come with the bike. The bike goes very well and stops as well as most ZZR1100. (Braking can be upgraded as they are a bit of a weak point. though I find them adequate). The centre stand is a godsend for maintenance and cleaning. Its in very good condition but does have a few marks caused by the previous owner. These are not "age related". they are caused by carelessness. Apparently the previous owner "leaned it against a wall at the TT. Other than that it is very good condition and has not been dropped or crashed. The wheels suffer the usual Kawasaki tarnishing. could be bought back to as new by some hard work and wet and dry. The number plate may be interesting to you if your name is Noah and you are building a boat. or if you are Mark.  I'm now 51 and decided to have one last bike so I bought a ZZR1400 for my last biking years hence the sale of the 1100. There will be a fresh 12 month MOT for the new owner. No Alarm (they always malfunction).  Any questions please ask. The only one I wont answer is "What's the lowest you'll take for it?"It's 99p start no reserve. Please send questions vide Ebay. Thanks for looking. Steve.
