My name is Jerod Walter and I maintain a collection of new and vintage motorcycles for a private collector. The bikes are insured. registered. kept full of conditioned fuel. connected to battery maintainers and stored in an air-conditioned showroom. “Showroom Bikes” are kept in top running condition and are regularly ridden on short notice. The bikes are detailed and refueled after each ride before returning to the showroom. Riding bikes regularly keeps the mysteries to a minimum and allows us to stay on top of any issues that arise. From time to time we “thin the herd” to make room for new arrivals. In each case we try to tell the full story of the bike and post lots of pictures. I’m always available by phone to talk about the bikes and answer any questions. Offered from the Showroom: One of a kind custom built Kawasaki KZ1000 ShaftNO RESERVE!!This bike was bought in 2014 from Blue Ridge Power sports in Harrisonburg. VA. Before they acquired it in 2013. it had sat in a climate controlled facility untouched for 20 years. They proceeded to not only get the bike in working order but do a complete rebuild and overhaul on the engine to make this bike scream. And scream it does! Cosmetically. the bike is not perfect. The paint is in the typical original shape of a motorcycle of this age with some clear coat peeling off of the tank and typical swirl marks from too much rubbing. The engine could use a good polishing and there are a few rusty nuts and bolts here and there. There are no dents or dings and the bike could easily be restored to have its body match its growl. This bike is FAST and sounds mean! When all of the work was done to the engine. they also added new fuel lines. rebuilt the brake calipers and master cylinder. installed new fork seals and replaced all fluids. The only thing I have done is clean the carbs on this bike and coat the rusted tank with KBS Gold Seal. All of the work was luckily documented on a build sheet that Blue Ridge Power sports provided to us.
