Description

1973 Kawasaki Z1 900 - 10. 11 Original miles - VIN # Z1F-11572 - Engine # Z1E-11270 - Unrestored Survivor - 99. 8% untouched. original as it rolled off the assembly line. I believe that the pictures that I have attached prove the unbelievable condition of this motorcycle - there has never been any touch-up or resoration work done to this bike. It spent the last 34 years since 1981 stored in a climate controled basement of a home. This really saved the bike. the rubber parts are still very soft and there weren't any windows in the room so bodywork did not fade over the years. The only. what I would call negatives with this bike are in order for the bike to go down the stairs the exhaust pipes had to be removed. they were stored hanging from the raffters. the previous owner spent some time away from home and at some point in time someone walked off with the original left side exhaust. therefore the exhaust is a later 74 number stamped system - Original Right side exhaust non-stamped is included(pictured). All of the exhaust is super nice. no rust or rot anywhere. The other 0. 1% is because the rear tire was replaced with a Formula brand tire way back in the 70's. Only other negative is the Fuel tank has been coated inside and some sealer spread on the bottom tunnel side. I'm not sure why because the tank looks fine inside. maybe a pin hole somewhere? This 73 Z1 has all of it's correctly date coded parts (Some pictured below) including. Wheels - Carbs - Swingarm - Brake Rod - Rotor - Handlebar Switches - etc. Also retains its original Tool Kit & Owners Manual. Original non-Oring Chain & Chain Oiler system is complete. This bike has been more of a display item for a few years now. if the new owner wishes to ride the bike you will need to do the following - New fuel lines. Battery. Oil change. fill & blead front brake system. and the tires would not be safe. I believe that the pictures really show the bikes condition. there are very minor cosmetic flaws but remember this bike is original. their only original once. anyone can have a restored one. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have thru email or you call reach me via phone at (402) 217-1882 Derek. please M-F after 5pm central time or anytime on the weekend. If you would like to have pictures of anything specific don't hesitate to ask. I also incourage you to come by and view the bike in person if at all posibble. Thanks for Looking !!!
