1977 KAWASAKI KZ400 Bratstyle Flat Track Street Tracker Project

I am selling my 1977 Kawasaki KZ 400 flat track / street tracker project. I spent a lot of time on this and made sure I did everything right. I stripped it down to the frame. powder coated the frame. swingarm (new bushings). side stand. trees. lower fork legs and rear fender. All hardware that could have been replaced with NOS hardware or socket head screws was replaced. The forks have been rebuilt with new seals. The engine has new pistons. rings. cam chain. cam chain guides. bearings and full gasket set. I shortened the rear of the frame by several inches and fabricated a loop and new seat pan. The rear fender was made by 7 Metal West. the seat was upholstered by a professional and the tank was lined and painted by a professional as well. The engine covers are new and have been polished. The ignition coil and wires are new/high performance. the exhaust has been wrapped and the muffler is a new. shorter replacement. The headlight. levers. rear brake pedal. kickstart lever. cables. throttle tube. sprockets. chain. rear shocks and grips are new. The bars are new #10 bend flat track bars. Tires are new Pirelli 4. 00 x 18. 0 DOT approved trials tires. The foot pegs are new from a later model dirt bike and have been powder coated and the shift lever is new. A new baby at home means I don't have the time to finish this project and I'd like it to go to someone who will finish it and ENJOY IT. Here's what it needs to be finished: carbs. wiring harness. speedometer drive and a battery box. The forks boots are dry but I have a new set for it. My plan was to fabricate a 2-into-1 intake for it and hang a Keihin carb with a K&N air filter on the intake. 70's flat track style. I will include the new carb and filter with the bike. I have many extra parts. service info. parts lists. etc. as well. I spent A LOT of time on this project as well as money. I have over $4500 invested in it but have set the reserve price much lower. People who have seen it have offered to buy it as-is but I had planned to finish it and keep it. but my situation has changed and I need to find it a new home.
