customized Vulcan 1500

1998 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 This bike is deep red with red micro-flake and black flames with slashcut exhaust. It runs great with tons of power. Both tires are in good condition new battery and recent oil change. Bike can be cold to start. (Starts right up if you hold the choke out then let it run for about a minute.) Lots of chrome all over the bike. Great riding and handling bike even for those of us with short legs. Saddle is stock but very comfortable. All pictures are accurate but do not depict the hairline scratches orfront fender dent which is about 1" in semi-golf ball shape; I didn't do it-don't know where it came from. I have created show-bikes before one of which won best of show at Daytona in the bagger division atfull throttle. I know what it costs to fix a bike up. Even though this bike has flaws (cosmetically) there is still $3-5000. in paint and accessories although it could use some touch up now. There are no apparent mechanical issues with this bike. it justneeds to be ridden and cared for.

I go to the west coast frequently and bought this bike so I would have something to ride out there. I was told I could leave it at a place of business that I frequent; they later changed their minds and felt it was too much liability so it was shipped back to North Carolina where I now enjoy four motorcycles in my garage and two cars in my driveway. My wife is thrilled (not). That's the only reason its up for sale.
