250SF Custom, Nicest on Ebay! Lots of Upgrades Low miles.

Beautiful one of a kind KLX 250SF that was purchased new by me. Only 4700 carefully ridden STREET ONLY miles. After riding the cycle for 1500 miles I decided to go to town on the customizing. The bike is light and will corner with almost any bike on the planet but it just did not have enough power to keep up on the street to my liking. I did extensive research and found Bill Blue's name in a motorcycle publication and many blogs. You may go to his websight at B&B Cycle Restoration in Wichita Kansas. He is a foremost authority on small cycle engines and does master machining. I had him install one of his renown 351cc Big Bore Kits along with the famous Mikuni carburator and topped thing off with a Barkers high flow exhaust. The results were amazing. After dyno tuning we were able to get the cycle to almost 30hp wchich is a 50% gain over stock. The dyno also showed a top speed of 93mph! Keep in mind that this bike only weighs 300lbs so the power to weight ration is awsome.This bike will keep up with most 650's and will give my Harley's a good run to 50mph. It has a much better power to weight ratio than Kawasaki's own KLX 650! I then had a more dense shock oil added to the front forks for better handling to complete the mechanical mods. I then added a quich detatch windshield for use on the highway and luggage rack and quick release tail storage bag. As well for appearance I had our local custom shop fabricate some carbon fiber decals that are much nicer looking than stock. Completing the Carbon fiber look I had more foam added to the stock seat(it is hard as a rock from factory) and had it professionally covered in grey carbon fiber material. I then ordered a black custom leather carbon fiber Corbin seat to change up the look. I own 6 motorcycles all with custom accessories and this is on par with any of them. Keep in mind all these goodies come at a cost. I have well over $7500 into this cycle and realize I will never get it all back. But for less than half that you can have a bike with all the upgrades you would dream of having already done! The bike has been maintained to perfection by Shawnee Cycle Plaza(913-631-1111) and all service receipts are available.The bike is very reliable and has never leaked oil. It has well over 50% tread remaining on the tires. I am selling this bike having done the 2000 mile full service two years ago and a fresh oil change and inspection three weeks ago. So all the turn signals horn etc operate as they should. This bike is ready to ride! This is the nicest and best performing KLX 250SF you will find. You will not be dissapointed!
