1975 Vintage Kawasaki F9 Classic Bighorn (Silver and Black)

For your review and purchase is a low mileage (5952) 1975 Kawasaki F9 Bighorn. There has been a significant amount of money invested in this bike in NOS and new parts. The bike runs very strong and is truly a stump-puller. I have completely overhauled the Hatta three (3) position front suspensions with NOS valve assemblies seals O-rings and dust covers. The bike’s previous owner installed a first over piston and ring set. I have measured the cylinder piston and rings and they are all within manufacturers spec. I have conducted a pressure check on the complete motor and the rate-of-decay is also in spec. There are a few dings and dimples on the bike but overall it’s in very reasonable shape. The seat is original.

For the folks that have not been around a Bighorn the bike is highly adjustable for rider height and ride style e.g. pegs adjust front and rear height adjust the Hatta fork legs have three positions including preload and height adjustment.

I have installed a compression release that I use for only starting the bike. With a bit of timing between the use of the compression release starter (choke) and your right leg the bike will start without undue stress. The list below are all of the new items purchased and installed:

The bike comes with a Bill-Of-Sale. It has not been registered in California. If other State specific paperwork is required to sign happy to do so.
