Kawasaki H2B - 1974 - Candy GoldClassic Kawasaki 750 TripleI bought this bike as a fresh import to the UK with the original American log book (which I still have a copy of). I registered this bike in the UK. EngineThe engine has been totally rebuilt from top to bottom. A refurbished crankshaft. bearings and seals were installed by Gary Clarke of the Kawasaki Triples Owners Club. All gearbox bearings (5) and a refurbished gearbox were also installed at the same time by Gary. Pistons are +1. 0 original Kawasaki with new original Kawasaki Piston Rings. There are also new small end bearings and the bores have been honed. All carburettors have been ultra sound cleaned and have new sliders and floats. The following parts have been replaced or sourced returning the bike to original specification. The majority of these have come from Canada or America and I have 90% of the receipts available. - Mirrors- Handlebar Grips- Choke Lever- Odometer Cable- Tachometer Cable- Clutch Cable- Fuel Cap- Rear Shocks- Tank Strap- Rear brake shoes- Air box and Rubbers- Carburettor Slides- Carburettor floats- Pingel high flow petcock- New fuel pipes- Steering Damper (Replaced)- Headlight (Halogen) and chrome headlight surroundGood PointsAs can be seen above. a lot of work has already been done on this bike. The mechanicals of the bike are like brand new and it rides like a dream. with no vices. The bike has a current MOT until 05-FEB-2015 and the tax runs out 28-FEB-2015. The current mileage is 10907. however the bike is only just run in since the rebuild. Bad PointsJust the paintwork and chroming require a little attention as below. 3 Small dents on the petrol tankA few small chips on the rear seat tail unit and side panels. One exhaust has a dent towards the end. One fork dust cover has perished. Reason for sellingI am selling this bike as I am moving on to a new project and the bike is also slightly too big for me as I am only 5'4'' tall. :(I am happy to answer any questions about the bike between 9am to 6pm on my mobile 07901 745990I have spoke to Gary Clarke and he is happy to answer any questions about the engine. I am happy for anyone to come and view the bike. it can be located 10 minutes from the M25 in North West Kent (near the Dartford Crossing). No test pilots unless you have fully comp insurance or the cash in my hand before hand. 10% non refundable deposit to be paid by bank transfer within 24 hours of the Auction Ending. Or full cash/balance transfer with 48 hours. Happy BiddingRe-Listed due to Ebay having problems last weekend and people unable to bid on the bike.
