1989 Kawasaki KX250MX RacerTHIS IS ANO RESERVE AUCTION.BIKE WILL SELL TO THEHIGHEST BIDDER. This would be Kawasaki's last year for conventional style forks but what a way to end an era! These are KYB's fabulous 46mm forks that are highly coveted by all racers looking for the ultimate in conventional fork technology. Rumor has it that these 46mm forks were so good that it wouldn't be until right around the mid-90's that KYB's inverted forks would match the performance of these huge conventional 46's.

This bike sports all of it's original OEM plastic and it is very rare to find these with their original small KX tanks. All of this orig. plastic is in very good but used condition so it's not perfect or new. Tires are very good (first year for 19" rear) seat cover replaced with gripper style aftermarket orig. rear shock excellent. FMF pipe & Answer silencer (pipe has ding on side). Excell brand rear rim. T

hese are very fast bikes and handle really well and is the LAST modelyear that you can vintage race a KX (GP-5). Great bike for the money andthese arebecoming a really hard bike to find nowadays.

ONLY ISSUES I can find are: Steering head bearings are a bit stiff and minor wear for the year.

Excellent compression and spark. Starts easily and runs strong. Bike has been sittingfor a while and should have a complete RACE PREP by you prior to riding or racing it.
