Description

I am looking to sell my 2000 Kawasaki ZR1100C. (ZRX1100) It was previously salvaged back in 2010 in California and rebuilt the same year and passed a safety check in Arizona according to Cyclecheck and has approx 45k-50k + miles on it. I can give you a copy of the report I got back in March. It is listed as exempt on the title since the instrument cluster broke and the mileage got screwed up so it didn't match the AZ title when I brought it here.I bought it from my dad in Arizona almost a year ago and haven't had time to ride it a lot or fix it up. It runs OK but needs some work and carb probably needs adjusting or re-jetting since it came from a lower altitude. I've had to keep the idle turned up off and on to keep it from stalling after I start it. I do smell coolant sometimes but don't see any leaks anywhere and the levels have been normal. There is damage on the right side (see pictures) where I'm guessing someone laid it down or it fell over. (Maybe from the salvage/rebuild?) The battery is fairly new. I do have an extra seat that comes with it.Here is a list of things I know it needs:1. New Instrument cluster...the speedometer does not work (was fixed but broke again) and the mileage is off. (About $200 on Amazon or Ebay.)2. Right fork leaks and needs a new seal...wouldn't hurt to replace both. (around $20)3. Tire's are pretty worn out. See picture. (Around $350 to replace)4. Paint and plastic parts are faded in spots and there is some paint chipping on the tank.5. Might need a new muffler...I don't know the noise laws in Colorado but this exhaust is definitely not baffled and it's loud as a swarm of angry zombie bees. (no idea what a normal one sounds like to compare it to.) If you know someone who can do the exhaust work you might be able to just get a new baffled muffler and re-do the last part of the 4-1 pipe other wise you are looking at $600 to $1000 for a completely new exhaust including headers and muffler.I'm asking $1400 (This is what I paid for it but I will consider reasonable offers.) Most bikes I've seen of the same model (w/ less miles) in good condition are going for $2500-$3500. This is being sold AS_IS with no warranty expressed or implied and please remember this bike does have approx 45-50k+ miles on it according to the records I have.
