1974 Kawasaki Z1 900 original 12,693 mile 2 owner bike

This auction is for my 1974 Kawasaki Z1-A that I purchased from my neighbor in 2005. He purchased the bike new and put 11,667 miles on it and I have added1026 more miles on itfor a total of 12,693 miles. I am reducing the number of bikes in my Japanese muscle bike collection and I will be selling more bikes later this summer through ebay. I also have a very early 1973 Z1 VIN # 2XX that I plan to sell later.

I had a local mechanic, hat owned and worked onthese bikes when they were new,rebuild the carbs, aster cylinder, eplace the breaker plate, oints & condenser, et the valves and the steering head bearings were replaced with roller bearings, s were the swing arm bushings. The forks seals and dust covers were replaced. The pipes were replaced with reproduction pipes from Z1 Enterprises. The battery is a 2 year old AGM.

The paint is original, he seat is original, he tires are the correct Dunlop gold seals that were replaced prior to 1979 when the bike was put into storage. They should be replaced if you plan to drive it much as they are over 35 years old. I replaced the original rear shocks, ut the originals are included in the sale. Everything works on this Z1-A, ncluding the stop light indicator light in the tach. This is a very exceptional example of the Z1-A that has not been made up of reproduction parts or parts sourced fromother bikes.

The VIN # Z1F-41892 and the engine number is Z1E-41922. The key code is 755, he swing arm code is 403, he rear brake brace code is 43, he front rotor code is 9B, he front rim code is 4C 303 and the rear rim code is 4C 303. I have not looked at the switch codes, ut I assume that they are the originals.

This bike runs and drives like a new one and turns a lot of heads on bike night.

I have a clear MN title in hand.

I have a fair reserve on the bike and the auction will run through the duration of the auction.

I require a $500.00 PayPal deposit within 48 hours of the completed auction. The balance will have to clear my bank before the bike leaves my home.
