1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 LTD

This bike is outstanding. It was part of a large collection before I acquired it and it was kept in a temperature controlled garage, hich you can tell as there is not one rusted bolt on this bike. I had the carburetors professionally rebuilt. Once I got them back I brought the bike to a local KawasakiDealer so they could install the carbs and Sync them. At that time I also replaced the Carburetor intake boots and also the air intake boots. These were replaced with NOS stock, ot aftermarket parts. Kawasaki also adjusted the valves, heck compression, ew fork seals, eplaced brake fluid and checked the brakes, nd they also wentover the entire bike. The bike runs like new. The tires are new as well. It only has 8,666 miles on it. The motor is barely broken in with low miles like that. They said it was so nice they photographed it and put it on their website. They told me that this bike is a true Survivor, ll original and not molested. People would look at it and think it was new.The Chrome is not pitted, hines like new.Due to my back I cannot ride anymore and this bike does not deserve to just sit in a Garage. This bike could go into a museum or it could be driven as a daily rider. Handles fantastic too. The bike also has theFront Badge on the Forks which says Kawasaki. All the KZ'z I see are missing this Kawasaki Badge. This is also a NOS part. One last thing I want to mention isthe original tool kit is included and not one piece is missing. You cannot buy these anywhere. You can see it in the pictures. Also the original manual and also the parts and service manual are included too.good Luck
