1986 Kawasaki Ninja ZX1000 1000R

1986 Kawasaki Ninja ZX1000 1000R, ed, ery good condition.24,475 miles. The first owner purchased the bike new in 1986 and kept it for a majority of the time. As he aged, f I remember correctly he was in his 60s, e passed it along to his adult son who then passed it along to his adult brother. The bike was in the same family for about 25 years, eticulously maintained and then I purchased it to add to my collection. I am moving along to different hobbies and have decided to sell this fine example of an original Kawasaki Ninja 1000R. For being 29 years old it is in very good condition. It has various small imperfections in the paint and the plastic fairings. It was tipped to the right and the right mid-fairing and lower "V" have scratches as shown in the pictures. Right side pipe has scratches and small dents too, ut not road rash due to going down while in motion. The very bottom lower "V" fairing has been reworked after it appears it was melted from the exhaust. Previous owners added the front fender extension. Tank is clean inside with no indication of rust towards the bottom sides as many of these tanks do. It has a light smoke Zero Gravity windscreen, 987 Ninja 1000R mirrors, orbin seat and the rear fender has been eliminated. I do have original seats with a custom shorty back-rest that I never used or mounted. I also have a rear fender (no reflectors, icense plate bracket or license plate light) that I will include. New battery was installed July 2. I added original helmet locks, ut they are keyeddifferentlythan the ignition. I had a NOS Kawasaki key cut so one side is for the ignition, ank and seat locks and the other side is the helmet locks. No original GPZ key included though, orry. Small original tool bag is under the seat. I took the bike out Friday for a ride and it is truly a pleasure to ride. It starts upimmediately, uns fabulously, hifts smoothly, s powerful and seriously drives great. Title is in hand.
