1975 Kawasaki KS 125A

40 years ago this bike was shipped over from Japan along with the new look on enduro / street and trail bikes. This is an unbelievable survivor of that time with everything working as it did back then.

I am the 4th owner and all of us have taken care of this bike. The owner of (now closed) REI Cycles in Champaign IL was the second owner from my records who took it in on trade. This bike sat up on the raised landing for years until it was finally sold to another gentleman in Champaign whom bugged the owner till he finally sold it because this was his first bike he owned when he was young. That’s who I purchased it from.

This bike has been kept up through the years and the latest things I have done were carb rebuild, ew drive chain and new tires. I still have the original tires that are in good shape. The title states 1975 though some 1974 models had this paint job and other 1975 bikes had the white green paint job.

The previous owner and I have started the bike at least once a month through the years. From a cold start it only takes 4 to 5 kicks to start and then once warmed up it’s every time. All stock except for NGK spark plug wire added by last owner.
