Description

I bought this bike about a year ago on eBay for 3300.00. It has 5150actual miles on the odometer. It was a birthday present to myself. It was important to me to have her look and run like as close asit did when she rolled out of the factory in 1986 (Just like the first one I bought in 1987)I ended up sinking another 3000.00 into it. Here is what I did: New tires, eat recovered, ew windscreen, ew mirrors... Every body panel was repaired/replaced and repainted - except for the tail piece and tank. The motor has been gone through, nd serviced. The last piece of the puzzle is to have the sending unit from the tank replaced in order for the gas gauge to work. The factory oem unit is next to impossible to replace, ut an early 2000's Z1100 will work with minor mods. (and they are about 50.00 here on eBay) I did the work with the intention of keeping her for many years. Why am I reluctantly selling it? One word, divorce'.The truth is, have several bikes, nd most have to go. Ive been collecting for years, nd now have to downsize. As you can imagine, his bike was well taken care of and (barely) ridden with care.(I put about 85 miles on it) A great addition to anyone's collection of classic bikes or for anyone who wants a sport bike capable of 150mph+ on a budget. Im hoping to get as much out ofmy 6300 investmentas possible.Buyer is responsible for shipping. Paypal is fine for the deposit, ut rather have the balance paid with abank endorsed Cashiers Check or cash. Feel free to submit your questions. *I am a commercial motorcycle photographer by trade. There was a small feature written about the bike here: http://www.gearsandglory.com/ ***Please bid if you reallywant this bike and areABLE TO FOLLOW THROUGHon the transaction. The original listing was pulled because someone local wanted the bike. After the personfailed to showup (four different times), ve decided to relist.
