2006 Kawasaki Vulcan VN2000 LT

21,189 miles – just broken in.

Excellent condition – Bike has never been crashed or damaged in motion. Small chip out of leading edge of front fender and another small chip out of training edge of rear fender.

This machine is very docil and easy to ride. Power is more than manageable and will pull away from stop lights very gently. Or, f you open up the throttle, t will eat a Corvettes lunch. Really big grins. The performance mods did not increase the HP all that much. But, he HP and Torque curves were shifted back by about 1,000 RPMs. You will have almost full torque available between 1,500 and 2,000 RPM. The bike lopes along at 70 indicated and will “supercruise” at 90+ all day long. Supercruise is at about 3,200 RPM.

I purchased the bike from the original owner in Reno, V and rode it home to Seattle. We moved to East Tennessee and I have been working too hard for the past five years to do much riding. I just purchased a new touring machine and need to free up space in the shop.

I installed a HitchDoc hidden hitch to pull a Bunkhouse trailer for a couple of years in the PNW. Never even knew that the trailer was back there. To ensure adequate braking, installed electric brakes on the trailer and also installed a Prodegy electric brake controller on the bike. The controller rides on the handlebars.
