1981 Kawasaki KZ1000 LTD
Up for auction is my 1981 Kawasaki KZ1000 LTD with the sought after "J" motor. The bike is a low mileage example that was found in south Georgia where it had been sitting in a garage for about 15 yrs. The bike was disassembled cleaned, ainted and put back together. The bike is completely factory correct is except for the following items:
1. Super bike bars ( I like the lower look and feel)2. Back was painted black without the striping3. Tank emblems are the earlier style factory emblems (stock were gold and cheap looking)4. Chrome mirrors5. O ring chain6. New aftermarket chrome gas cap
New brake pads, orks rebuilt with new seals, ngine was resealed, ew filters, tc.
Everything else is original including the often changed items like exhaust, ir box, asteners, tc.
Bike runs very strong, rakes very well. It still has the original tires. I would replace the tires if you plan to ride the bike a lot. Bike was restored about 2 yrs ago and has been ridden very little. Chrome is original and has very light pitting. Please look at the pictures carefully and ask questions.
