You are bidding on a 1973 Kawasaki z1. This motorcycle was professionally restored to original factory condition. We made sure this bike is showroom quality; every part was either replaced by new parts, r the parts were reconditioned to original factory condition. All factory codes, nd year specific parts match exactly, e made sure that all parts are 100% period correct to a 1973 Kawasaki z1 specifications, ight down to period correct tires and every bolt, ut, nd even washer. BODY::: All of the body panels were repainted to original factory color code on new body work and look perfect. All bolts, uts, nd washers were re-zinced, e-chromed or replaced to look 100% new and original. The original wheels were reconditioned and re-spoked with the proper gold nipples. Every metal part including the frame was painted or powder coated to original factory black color. Every wire or any electrical component was inspected and replaced if needed; all wire connectors were re-crimped with original Japanese connectors if needed, o all electrical connections are brand new; even inside the headlight bucket looks brand new. Every chrome part was either re-chromed or replaced to give it the original quality shine. The engine was repainted to original semi-gloss black, nd the engine side covers were polished to original polish quality. New period correct thread pattern front & rear tires were also installed. MECHANICAL::: The bike runs and rides like new. The engine was completely rebuilt from the base block up, ew piston rings, ll new gaskets; all new engine seals, ew timing chain, ew timing chain rollers, nd much more. Internal motor parts were either replaced or adjusted to original factory running condition. Carburetor was completely stripped down then cleaned by an ultrasonic cleaner, ll O-rings, ets, nd gaskets were replaced on the carburetor. The complete engine was striped to bare metal and repainted; even the oil pan looks spotless now. Oil sump pump area was fully cleaned and serviced so there is no debris. We did a full service tune, djusted the valves, djusted timing, ew points & condenser, ires, lugs, ir filter, il filter, leaned and synchronized carburetor, ew brakes fluid, ew brake pads, ew tires, ew drive chain, ew front & rear sprockets, ebuilt caliper, ebuilt front forks with new fluid and seals; basically all of the mechanical maintenance was freshly done so the motorcycle is ready to ride anywhere reliably and feels like new. FACTORY OPTIONS::: Installed is a period correct steering dampener which was a Kawasaki dealer option available in 1973. The steering damper has period correct NHK 72-C stamp on the dampener. FACTORY DATE CODES & UNIQUE PARTS::: This restoration has all matching date codes and unique parts for the 1973 z1 production. We made sure this bike is period correct as much as possible, ust as if it came from the dealers show room floor in 1973. Here are the codes to confirm production dates: Engine code #z1e-17613, ear and front rim code #3F, ear brake torsion bar #36, ontrol switch numbers #305, wing arm code #306, auges have the proper ND print location, long with the proper font for this frame number, he carburetor code is 147 / 3 and has the 17mm float bowl drain plugs. Stanley stamped original headlight with original large bulb, em stanley headlight bucket. Stanley oem turn signals. Small Kawasaki tank emblem. Tokico original caliper. Original chain oiler & chain oiler tank. All original electric stamps and stickers. There are a few more parts that are unique to the 1973 so please feel free to ask if I have missed any of them and I can confirm what’s on the bike.
