1976 Kawasaki KX 400 Vintage Motorcycle VMX AHRMA Project No Reserve Original

Hello, he barns are full here at The Vintage Wrench and I'm going to offer up a few bikes that I feel are too complete or nice too part out. I'll tell you what I know about the bike. Look over the pictures close. Ask any questions you may have.

No title. Frame #K5 9067xx Motor #K5E 9067xx. 1976 Kawasaki KX400. This bike is very original. Don't see anything molested. This was found in the basement of the original owner. I am the 3rd owner. This has been in my basement for a few years on display, ot because how nice it is, ut because of how original it is. I'm ready to put something it it's place and am ready for this to go to a new home. The basement moisture of the original owner got to this one with lots of surface rust. Bike kicks through and has compression, ut seems a little weak. Has a crack in the seat cover from being so dry. Missing rubber-band that hold front # plate on. Has been sitting most of it's life will need a good going over and probably complete rebuild before any serious use. Would be great for complete restoration, r leave as is for a collection. Only original once.

I have offered the bikes to be picked upand will be glad to help you or a shipper of your choice load the bike. I can store for a reasonable amount of time as long as the bike is paid for and length of time to be stored is discussed before hand.

I know several people that run AHRMA races and could possibly help with shipping to an event. I have trips planed to the Davenport Iowa Swap meet early September, enver Colorado swap meet mid September, he AMCA swap meet in Jefferson PA early October and could possibly help with transportation along the route. I also have a bike that needs to be taken to the Houston Texas area so delivery could be arranged along that route as well.

**8/27/2015 I've been asked a couple times if I would sell the bike direct and end the auction. The bike will sell to the high bidder on Ebay. I will not stop the auction as it's not fair to other bidders or watchers that have put their time in.
