Up for sale is my 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan EN500C-7 adult-owned cruiser. This model always gets the best ratings. earned because it drives easy. rides well. and seldom breaks. This has been my daily transportation since last winter. It starts. runs. and stops every day flawlessly. I am looking at buying a new Vulcan 900. and would have to sell this one to be able to buy the new one. The bike has 24. 00 miles on it. but I had the Ninja engine replaced with one that had only 5500 miles on it just a few months ago. This bike runs fast and like new (as you would expect) and is as reliable as you would expect from a newish engine. I would rate it a 9. 9 mechanically and a 6 cosmetically. The battery is new. as are a dozen other little parts. The chain is excellent. The brakes are solid. but new pads might be called for within the next year or two. The 6-speed transmission. clutch. and shifter are excellent. The tires are good to fair. The seat is good. It has a big gas tank. and I can run up to 180 miles between fill-ups. The radiator was cleaned and tested when I replaced the engine and the anti-freeze is new. The oil was recently changed. too. This is an excellent bike. It is full-sized 2-cylinder liquid-cooled ride. and I believe it uses the same frame that was used for 900 cc. 1700 cc. and 2000 cc models. It has a sweet noise when accelerating but won't wake the neighbors when you start it early in the morning. When I bought the bike it had been dropped (has visible scars on the muffler. etc. ). It had already been repaired with the current "Easy Rider / Capt. America" paint. The paint job is sub-par but passable for me since I was just using it to go to work or for getting around town. It always draws compliments because of the paint and the sound. Most bikers assume it is a large engine and are surprised when I tell them it is a 500. This is far from being a show bike but it is excellent transportation. giving me 45-60 mpg depending on city or country driving. It has been serviced locally by a great mechanic. If you are looking for solid dependable transportation and terrific mileage. this is a great bike for you. The bike is going "AS IS. WHERE IS". I am all about full disclosure. so I included several pics to show you all of the flaws. It is priced to sell at far below the $2995 price tag it would command with perfect paint. I am including the old engine for free. which runs. as a great source for extra parts. Clear Georgia title in hand. ready to sign over! If you are within a few hours of Atlanta I can help you with delivery for a reasonable fee. but the responsibility for the cost of getting the bike to you is yours.
