1984 Kawasaki KZ700 A-1 Rare 1 year production

Up for sale is a 1984 Kawasaki KZ700 A-1. Produced for 1 year only. Clean and Clear title in hand. Owner I bought it from had the bike repainted, ith new decals, ebuilt the front and rear brakes and also the front forks were gone through as well. A period correct Kerker 4 into 1 was installed on the bike also, on baffle pipe. Motorcycle has always been garaged, aintained and for the most part adult owned.

Motorcycle was running at time of purchase but the upper part of the motor needed some attention. I had my mechanic do all motor work as follows. New Kawasaki piston rings and wrist pin clips installed. Complete valve job, ew valve seals, ngine gaskets. A good used timing chain tensioner was put to use. Gone through the carbs a couple times, ad some troubles so they were sent out to be professionallyworked on. Totally taken apart, leaned, e-jetted, ew hardware, ees for air were fixed, small springs and ball bearing installed on the #2 and #3 carb/ for the choke assembly - helps lock the choke into a few positions, nd anything else to improve performance done. A new K&N air filter replaced the stock one.All new Kawasaki rubber installed between carbs and motor, s well as carbs to the air box. 2 mounting springs replaced with new ones. A brand new Kawasaki fuel petcock installed on the fuel tank. As well as new fuel line and all vacume lines are new and any rubber plugs. just abovethe motor the air switch was missing. Bought a great used one and installed it with all missing rubber and clamps. Behind the air switch had installed a new Kawasaki diffuser and tube that runs to the air box and couple new clamps. New spark plugs and oil change done.

Had a new rear tire balanced and installed. New spring for the kickstand was put in. Under the gas cap a missing rubber grommet was newly installed. 3 new bleeder caps installed on calipers. Also 3 new reproduction decals were put on the calipers. ( originally they had no stickers just black - looked to plain and the decals make it pop a bit more). New Kawasaki pulsing coil emblem was replaced. A new Yuasa battery just put in the bike. Original owners manual is under the seat. nice condition. The tool tray is under the seat. I have a new tool bag, original tools and the rest are new. I have 2 tools still on backorder. May have one by end of the week but the other may not ship out until mid September.

The carbs were just synced up a couple weeks ago and the bike is running like a champ. Goes through the gears no problem, ll brakes are working proper as well as all lights etc. The exhaust sounds mint, ld school Kerker. even with the miles on the speedometer, he motor is pretty fresh.
