1981 GPZ 1100

Completely redone engine built by some of the best KZ drag racers in New England. Which includes head work polished ported. Stainless steel valves with a three angle valve job. APE 435 cams. Bored out to 1170cc. (Pistons and rings are also new) I was told that the timing chain was the weakest link of this motor which is new high-performance. Welded and balanced crank. New clutch and clutch springs. Dyna S ignition. New Dyna coils and wires. The cases were split and everything was thoroughly gone through looking for any cracks or stress marks on the transmission and other components. The headlight is off a GS 1100 E. Both front and rear rims are off a GPz 750 (newer model) except a wider tire which has new Avon rider tires. The gauge cluster is also off a newer GPz 750 not so big and bulky. Brand-new Pingel petcock. Integrated LED taillight. New old stock Kerker exhaust. Downfall are rims could get powder coated. I'm having a hard time getting the 33 smoothbores adjusted properly. I was told I should get a set of Mikuni RS 36 flat slides. I have all this time and money in the bike and the wife hates it. (most of you are going to say get a new wife) So to be totally honest I got a cruiser style bike fuel injection. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask thank you.
